Our Events
High Holidays: Since September 1979, Congregation BINA has been holding Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Simchat Torah services. The services have always been led by members of the Congregation. In 2020, due to COVID, these services were held virtually. We were pleased to have people from across the country in Canada, the U.S., Israel, India and the U.K. join our services. For 2021, due to COVID, we will advise you of our plans closer to the High Holidays.
Chanukah: Every year a social is held to celebrate Chanukah. In 2020, our social was held virtually. It was lovely to connect with so many members. In 2021, hopefully, this celebration will be held in person.
Purim: This year, virtually, there will be an English reading of the Megillah for our members on Thursday, March 25th at 7:00 pm. There will be a virtual social on Saturday, March 27th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. If you aren’t a member but would like to join either event, or both, please email info@congregationbina.ca.
Passover: This year, we will be holding the second Passover Seder, virtually, on Sunday, March 28th; time to be announced.
