Speaker Events

Jews in the Diaspora live in countries all over the world and have unique cultures, rituals, languages and histories.  Through this fascinating series, each of us have the opportunity to educate ourselves about the rich diversity of the Jewish People’s experience.

Ann Samson of Congregation BINA and Alan Herman of Canadian Institute for Jewish Research (CIJR) have joined forces to develop this informative speaker series.

We are delighted and appreciative of the support and partnership of the following cosponsors of this series: Beit Rayim Synagogue, Lodzer Synagogue, Canadians for Israel’s Legal Rights (CILR), Kulanu Canada, and Jews Against Antisemitism Canada.

The recordings of these speaking events are available to view on this website.  We hope you find them informative and join us for future events.

If you have a suggestion for a future speaker, please send an email to liaison@congregationbina.ca.
